Punta Sal

Punta Sal is a small beach resort located in the department of Tumbes, in northern Peru. Due to its location near the warm current of El Niño and the cold Humboldt Current which collide in this area, Punta Sal benefits with year round sunshine.

The beach is one of the longest of the north coast and its waters are warm and tranquil. The resort is divided into two sections, Big Punta Sal and Small Punta Sal.

The water temperature averages year round from 24°C to 29°C or 75°F-82°F
